He is a cancer surgeon at The Royal London and St Bartholomew’s Hospitals and has been awarded the accolade of the most watched surgeon in human history. He cofounded Medical Realties who have just released the worlds first VR Interactive Surgical Training Module. He is a non-executive director of Medic Bleep, a communications platform for healthcare professionals. He is an advisor for governments and major blue chip companies working in Pharma, Digital Health, Artificial intelligence and Robotics. 

He recently disrupting the traditional medical school curriculum by launching the Barts X Medicine Programme which has embedded future technologies and entrepreneurship into the medical school. Prof. Dr. Moran Cerf (US)

Moran Cerf is a neuroscientist and business professor at the Kellogg School of Management and the neuroscience program at Northwestern university.

Dr. Cerf is also a member of the institute on complex systems.

In his work, Prof. Cerf helps individuals and businesses harness the current knowledge of the brain to improve thinking and understanding of customers and business decisions.

His academic research uses methods from neuroscience to understand the underlying mechanisms of our psychology, behavior changes, emotion, decisions and dreams.

His works address questions such as: "How are conscious percepts formed in our brain?", "How can we control our emotions?" and “How can we make content that is engaging for the brain?"

Recently, his research has addressed questions pertaining to the neural mechanisms that underlie decision-making, thereby offering a new perspective on predicting future choices and investigating how much free will we have in our decisions. In his acclaimed work, Prof. Cerf studies patients undergoing brain-surgery by recording the activity of individual nerve cells using electrodes implanted in the patient's brain. Thus, his work offers a novel way to understand our psyche by observing the brain directly from within.

Dr. Cerf holds a Ph.D in neuroscience from Caltech, an MA in Philosophy and a B.Sc in Physics from Tel-Aviv University.

He holds multiple patents and his works have been published in wide-circulation academic journals such as Nature and Journal of Neuroscience, as well as popular science journals such as Scientific American Mind, Wired, New Scientist and more. Additionally, his work has been portrayed in numerous media and cultural outlets such as CNN, BBC, Bloomberg, NPR, Time, MSNBC, and dozens of others. He has been featured in venues such as the Venice Art Biennial and China's Art, Science and Technology association, and has contributed to magazines such as Forbes, The Atlantic, Inc., and others.

He has made much of his research accessible to the general public via his public talks at PopTech, TED, TEDx, Google Zeitgeist, DLD and other venues, gathering millions of views and a large following.

Additionally, he is the beneficiary of several awards and grants for his work, including the Instructional improvement grant, and the prestigious president scholarship for excellence. He was recently named one of the "40 leading professors below 40".

Prior to his academic career, Dr. Cerf spent nearly a decade in industry, holding positions in computers security (as a hacker), pharmaceutical, telecom, fashion, software development, and innovations research. Currently, Prof. Cerf is on the board of a number of neuro-tech companies (Nervanix, VR Americas, Best Fit) and the Co-founder of ThinkAlike. He is also the founder of B-Cube which applies neuroscience to help society.

Notably, Dr. Cerf is the Alfred P. Sloan professor at the American Film Institute (AFI), where he teaches an annual screenwriting class on science in films and is a consultant to various Hollywood films and TV shows, such as CBS' “Bull” and “Limitless”, USA Network's “Falling Water”, and more...

Cindy Gallop (US)

Cindy Gallop is a graduate of Somerville College, Oxford, whose background is over 30 years in brand-building, marketing and advertising - she started up the US office of ad agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty in New York in 1998 and in 2003 was named Advertising Woman of the Year.

She is the founder and CEO of IfWeRanTheWorld, co-action software launched in beta at TED 2010 and subsequently written up and taught as a Harvard Business School case study, which enables brands to implement the business model of the future – Shared Values + Shared Action = Shared Profit (financial and social). She is also the founder of MakeLoveNotPorn – ‘Pro-sex. Pro-porn. Pro-knowing the difference’ - a social sextech platform designed to promote good sexual behavior and good sexual values, which she launched at TED 2009, and for which she has just raised $2million to build out as ‘the Social Sex Revolution’. As a result of the funding challenges she has encountered, she is raising the world’s first and only sextech fund, AllTheSky Holdings. She acts as board advisor to a number of tech ventures and works as a personal brand/life/executive coach and a consultant on brand and business innovation for companies around the world, describing her consultancy approach as 'I like to blow shit up. I am the Michael Bay of business.' Lucie Greene (US)

Lucie Greene is a futurist and consultant specializing in the intersection between research and thought leadership, with brand strategy and communications. Most recently she was global director of the Innovation Group at JWT Intelligence in New York, J. Walter Thompson’s in-house future think tank and consultancy. has a wide editorial following and audience beyond the advertising industry. Their annual “Future 100” report, which I launched in 2014, is downloaded 40,000+ times across the year.

Most recently Lucie published her first book, Silicon States: The Power and Politics of Big Tech and What it Means for Our Future which was released with Counterpoint in August 2018. Silicon States has been described as “an excoriating look at the new masters of our universe” and was recently named one of the best books of 2018. It was recently optioned for Film/TV development. It was awarded Best Current Events & Public Affairs in Non Fiction of 2018 with CEO Reads.

Sunnie J. Groeneveld (CH)

Sunnie J. Groeneveld is an entrepreneur, board member, author and speaker. She is the Founder and Managing Partner of the consultancy Inspire 925 as well as a board member of the IT firm emineo, the engineering company HHM (Hefti.Hess.Martignoni) and the media group galledia.

She is also the Associate Dean of the Executive MBA Digital Leadership at the HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration in Zurich. Previously, she worked as the first managing director of digitalswitzerland, Switzerland’s largest cross-industry initiative on digital transformation. Moreover, she is the author of the book “Inspired at Work” (Versus Publishing House), was named as one of the “Top 100 Women in Business”, appeared in the list “Top 50 Who is Who in Digital Switzerland” by Handelszeitung as well as in the “30 under 30” list of Forbes magazine.

Sunnie graduated in Economics from Yale University.

Heimo Hammer, born in 1963 in Villach and CEO of kraftwerk. His focus is the strategic and creative combination of traditional advertising with new media. That means planning and designing corporate communications and campaigns with a sustained impact across a variety of media. “Modern advertising is an orchestra of old and new instruments performing in unison.”

Prof. Dr. Sandra Matz (US)

Dr. Sandra Matz is a Professor of Management at Columbia Business School. As a computational psychologist, she takes a Big Data approach to studying human behavior in a variety of business-related domains.

More specifically, she combines methodologies from psychology and computer science – including machine learning, experimental designs, online surveys, and field studies – to explore the relationships between people’s psychological characteristics (e.g. their personality) and the digital footprints they leave with every step they take in the digital environment (e.g. their Facebook Likes or their credit card transactions).
